NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Pursuant to Subsection 7(6) of the Building Code Act., R.S.O. 1992 as amended.

Public Meeting:   

A public meeting to inform the public of the proposed building fees amendment will be held on Thursday, June 15^th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Municipal Office of the Township of Greater Madawaska.

Those wishing to attend this meeting may also do so virtually.

Purpose of the Public Meeting: 

The Council of the Township of Greater Madawaska is proposing amending the costs of the building permit fees following a review of the current permit fees and the costs associated with the enforcement of the Ontario Building Code Act, with regard to the issuance of building permits through Section 7 of the OBCA.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for public input regarding the proposed amended building costs.  No staff recommendations will be provided, and the Township Council will not make any decisions at this public meeting.  A recommendation report will be prepared by staff and presented at a subsequent meeting of the Township Council.
