Public Notice - Proposed Rogers Telecommunications Tower

PROPOSED ROGERS 105 METRE WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS GUYED TOWER INSTALLATION

PROPOSAL:
Rogers is proposing an antenna system a property south of Hwy 41 at Lambert Rd., which consists of the following: a 105m guyed tower in a fenced compound, located in the centre of the property. Once completed the antenna system will measure 105m in height.
Rogers invites you to provide by mail or email your comments, and/or request to be informed of the Township’s position on the proposed antenna system before 5pm October 27th, 2023.
Rogers will respond to all reasonable and relevant concerns, and the Township will be taking into account comments from the public and Rogers’ response to each when providing its position to the proponent and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.
Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is responsible for the approval of this antenna system and requires that we review this proposal with the local municipality. After reviewing this proposal, the Township of Greater Madawaska will provide its position to Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and to Rogers.
